Caring for your permanent jewelry

Permanent jewelry has its perks! Tarnish resistant, you don't have to worry about losing it, you can shower or swim in it, and it can be layered with other pieces! And with a little care, it can last a long time.

First, try not to spray your chains directly with any perfume, beauty products, or cover them with lotions. These can erode the chains over time.

Second, if you notice your permanent jewelry looking a little dull, use dish soap or a polishing cloth to restore its luster. If you happen to notice some skin discoloration, it is most likely a buildup or dirt, sweat, or beauty products causing an interaction with the metal (yes even silver or gold) and your skin. Clean your skin well, and use warm soapy water and a toothbrush to clean your jewelry. This should resolve the issue.

Lastly, in the event you have to remove your permanent jewelry, simply cut the jump ring (the circular spot where the chain was welded together). When you want the jewelry re-welded just reach out and we'll take care of it!
